Sensors. HELP

Still having problems with my car, i need to locate the sensors that bring up the iginition and engine management lights.

i just went on a diagnosics website but it says theres a temp sensor at the back of my engine but i cant find it, theres just the air box there.



my cars the 1.4 16v 51 plate. what engine model is it???


ive spent about £300 so far on diagnositc checks ignition coils, wiring mods and even a new throttle.

Is it the orange engine management light ? if so have you replaced the pre cat llambda?

yeh i get that but not without the ignition light. it something that brings that one up
i changed 2 coils last saturday.

when you have had it plugged intot he CLIP what errors does it come up with, also what are the effects of the lights coming on? does it loose power?

lots of alarm codes.
think its mainly the throttle loosing its poistion, theres also an exhaust mapping sensor. also a engine coolant alarm

it turns the throttle off and goes into limp mode, which cant be cleared untill i restart the car.

when the orange engine light comes on there are only 3 sensor that can cause this 1. throttle possition sensor 2. knock sensor 3. lambda sensor . i had the same problem replaced all 3 and works wonderful. has all the loom been tested?

ok theres a new throttle on so i guess that rules out 1

whats the other 2??
the looms had some mods because of some recall my car never had.
is there anyway to test these sensors to see if they are fualty??

knock sensor (at the front of the bottom end) and the front lambda sensor on the exhaust. suprised renault aint worked out the problem with the clip

to the point where they wanna replace the entire wiring loom

at the front of the bottom end?? near the dipstick area??

the sensor the left of the dipstic is the oil level sensor the knock sensor is above the dipstick.

whats the knock measuring temp i guess. whys it called knock?

hoping this is the lambda

how the hell do u get the knock one off????
