Serious problem HELP

my car is mkaing a spluttering sound coming from the engine. the drive is very 'jerky' and there is no power. when i put my foot down in 1st not a lot happens. and the exhaust emissions light is flashing on the dashboard.

spark plugs-coil pack - leads think it gives you some advice in the handbook actually

if its still under warranty, call the AA. It sounds like a coil has gone down and its so common that the AA actually carry genuine renault coils and they'll fit it FOC.

if i were to check the coilpack and the leads how would i no if they were the problem? and it is HT leads you mean isnt it?

no i dont have any warrenty its a 51 plate car!

yuo cud be ht leads i'd say its the coil more then anything its £60 from reno

Ive just taken the leads and coilpack off and cleaned the plugs and now it seems fine.
