Serious Sam HD - XBL Arcade

Just noticed this available for download on the live marketplace, just downloading the demo to check it out.

Did anyone play it back in the day? I never got round to it but heard it was good for a laugh!

May purchase if the demo's any good. Getting bored of COD but want something that's just as easy to pick up and put down as my gaming time is kinda sporadic at the moment.

Never played it on xbox, but I've had all 3 serious sam games for the PC and loved them. Constantly got your finger on the fire button lol.

It didn't appear to do well in the customer review stakes on Steam, but I did like those Serious Sam games.

About as close as you can get to the original Doom type games, imo. Painkiller is another good one if they do that for the 360.

That game was better than I thought. Liked some of the weapons, especially the boomerang type discs that chopped heads off and came back.

I loved coop of this on the original xbox, but they should have updated it a bit, I don't want to play the exact same game but with better graphics.

Having said that, I'm sure I'll still get it...

This can also be downloaded via XBLA but its a bit of a letdown now IMO
