What is it with people in this country??!

I was driving sensibly and some stupid bint walks into the road at a junction when the pedestrian light was clearly red, she puts her hand onto my bonnet leaving a crease mark then proceeds to swear at me before running off. Seriously fucked off as no witnesses so will have to fork out for the repair and just the fact if I hadn't been quick with the braking I would probably have killed her (the driver training day at work paid off!)

Anyway, anyone have any idea how much this would cost to repair at all? No pics yet I am afraid as its night but its just a small crease mark, not gone through the paint or anything. To be honest most people would leave it but it will really annoy me being there.

yer mate i no what you mean i got two crease marks on my bonnet where people have been standing around my car leaning on it, i caught on of them and told him to f*** off then later saw the mark and they seriously get on my nerves as well even though you can only see them in the right light,

tbh depends on the guy whos doing it and what technique they use.

isit on the flat part or curved? if its on the flat you can sometimes cut the sealer on the skin and it goes back to shape, other times you cant get to it at all as the skins there.

Try Dent Devils, you send them a photo and description and they tell you if it can be done or not and how much. Based in Norfolk I think but they have 'technicians' based all over the country. I think its priced per panel as well as apposed to size of dent. Worth a punt!

I was toying with the idea of a CF bonnet although can't really afford it right now, would it look ok sprayed pearl black though as I like the standard look?

Otherwise the first owner did a couple of minor repairs at the front end which aren't fantastic, and some minor marks which I don't want to use the PC on as they could be deep and don't want to ruin the clearcoat...but how much roughly would it cost does anyone know to get the whole panel resprayed professionally in an oven? Guessing about £200? Still a lot cheaper than the CF and respray route though...

I would say it should come out with PDR even double skins are not a problem using up to date skills. Would not like to say without seeing a pics.

Cool hope so...my dad seems to think that even a mobile person could do it, as at work lots of bonnets get damaged being incorrectly shut so they need to get sorted. Front on you can't even see it, its just it you look from a certain angle so can't be that bad I guess.

If not though PDR hopefully will sort it out...so annoyed though still the bloody biatch!

it would look fine if it was painted bud, or you could have a thin layer of paint like the ferrari f40 so you can just see the weave underneath...now that would be a nice touch
