Because my 172 Cup is fitted with Recaro's the plug (i assume) that went into the factory seats needed a resistor to stop the light coming on.

The light started to come on now and again but when fiddled with went out, anyway, i bought what i thought was a new resistor from Maplin but it doesn't put the light out?

Do these look right;

(Bottom one is the original one, the metal prongs broke off)

(Top one is the new one, doesn't seem to work?)

This plug is where the resistor was in?

Any help anyone can offer would be great, thanks.

That's in the right pins. Have you put one in the black/red connector too? You need 4 resistors in total. (X2 per seat)

From memory there are 7 wires under the drivers seat 2 for airbag, 2 for seat belt pre tensioner, 1 for earth and 2 for seat recline switch.

Passenger seat thebsame but wothout the recline switch.
