Serv + Airbag Light ?

was putting in my new RS seats in today and the connections were completly different, no worrys as i had a m8t who understood them so all he did was change them over via correct places and connected to the new 1's,

re-connect battery turn ignition on and first thin gi notice was my SERV light Was on:S (bearing in mind that the passenger was un-hooked from the airbags)

also the Airbag SIgn came on (top right hand corner)

Can anyone put a finger on what seems to be the problem here??

Is your seats still disconnected from the airbags then?

If it is then thats your problem.

Definetly, your light comes on because theres no resistance being deteced as such your air bags in the seat won't work.

TO turn it off you need a 3 ohm resistor.

does the resistor just connect to the Airbag connector?
