serv light and air bag light?

had car all of a few days and this warning light that says serv and the air bag light has come on for no reason that i know of. Ive not crashed or bumped anything...however the serv light with the air bag light is present...dont suppse this means it needs a service? or is it something more sinister? Was recently serviced 4000 miles ago...so cant see why this has occured. Ive checked all doors, making sure nothing is obstructing the air bags etc...and made sure the passenger air bag is off and tried to turn it on and off still no changes. This is on a 172 sport. Thanks for any help.

might want to take it to a dealer and get some diagnostics done.

give the connector under the drivers seat a wiggle and the lights should go out.

this is sooo common its unbelievable!

Yep, do what he says ^
I wiggled the passenger air bag wire as well and this cleared it.

thankls very much guys, gave both plugs a wiggle and push and it seems to have done the trick! wow what they say about renault wiring was true! it really does suck
