Service light reset

Hi. I’ve had a quick search but couldn’t find a post. How do you reset the service light on a 182 please? No other lights on dash and reader says no detected faults so I’m assuming it’s general service due indication.
Engine oil, gearbox oil, filters, coolant all changed last year.

It's not service related, it's a fault

Need can clip on it to read the faults properly, probably airbag related

Good chance. It came on after I turned the passenger airbag light off for jr in the front but stayed on after it switched it back on and subsequent starts.

Did your airbag light come on when you turned the switch off?

Yes. Then it went off when I switched it back on.

Service and airbag light on now regardless of switch position. Will investigate further. Have a spare switch so may swap that over and check the connections under seat aswell as moved then getting kids in.

Yeah could be seat wires.

sorted. wiring under passenger. previous owner wonder wiring. now sorted.
