whats the one after that i have done about 25,000
Its every 18,000 or every two years, so the second service would be 36,000 miles (well, the milage you got the first service done at plus 18,000) or two years after the first service. The maximum deadline for the cam belt according the book is 72,000 miles

It should be 18,000 for the minor service and the major service at 36,000 unless they have changed it.

Be warned though, the 36k service on my 1.4 16v was £620.

Shop around you shoud get it for under 300 as logn as they dont do any more work. Im getting my dci for ~£220 I think all none sport models should be about the same ie 1.2, 1.4, 1.6.

Dont forget that brakes topping up fluids is a good money earner so that where the big money comes from.

Id not pay more than £250 for it there not much work they need to do.

You an do the brakes yourself in less than 1 1/2 hrs all in for £25 or less I think you can even get some pads fo £12.5 and there performance ones since Renault charge £90 for it minimum its a rip of.

Same for windscren wippers they charge a fortune for that as well.

When you go in tell them you want to be told of any extar costs before they do them. Under law they cannot do work unless you told them about it.

Dont let then charge you for tune ups there usually a ragging round the block anyway
