just got my 182 back from lodon west garage 242 for 12,000 miles service anyone thing" knock knock " and they put 10 w 40 in so i had a massive sh*t at them

Yes, I think you did get well and truely serviced by Renault.

Shouldnt it have 5w/40 oil in it aswell

You couldve took it elsewhere without losing your warranty as long as they used genuine Renault parts. I paid around £100 from an AA approved centre and took my own 5w40 oil to make sure.

P.S. I assumed you asked them to sort the engine mount and put 5w40 in?

well i asked them to put the oil in and he tried telling me they didnt sell this oil haha so anyone no of decent service places in london ?? or surounding counties ???

Quickshift the easiest way is to supply your own oil............no more probs...........you know whats going in and itll be cheaper..............a LOT cheaper than £242

as long as you use genuine reno parts and the sevice centre you use is VAT registered it should no invalidate your warranty

cheers lads a lesson learned, the passenger side lock is on order do u reckon i should get someone else to fix it then ?? as reno want 85 pound a hour to fix ????
