Servicing interval allowance

Ive got a cup, and im on 12,100 miles ...

Can someone put my mind at rest and assure me that the guy on the phone @ renault was telling the truth when he said it had to be serviced 1000 miles EITHER SIDE of the 12000 mark ?? ... i.e. I still have 900 miles left before it would invalidate my warranty ??

Yes it is indeed 1000 miles either side... Its in the "smallprint"..

a quick q if i had my car serviced at 12k but reno say it doesnt need it till 18k do i still have to get it done at 18k???
