Servicing question

Right question for you lot, ive got a 05 cup and its still under warrantie. Its due a service in August and was wondering must it go to a renault dealer (as my nearest is 70miles away) or can it go to another garage?

Couse i heared it can be serviced by another garage aslong as there authorised by Renault. Couse there is a local Ford garage by my house and ive always taken my cars there to get done and the woman behind the counter said that they service a lot of renaults and it is still ok under warrantie..

Can you lot clear this up for me please..... TAAAA

Its fine so long as they do all the checks and use Renault parts (keep the parts reciepts idealy) and are vat registered and stamp the book .

Its an EU directive.
