Setting up HOTMAIL via MS OUTLOOK

Does anyone know what the:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3)

&

Outgoing Mail Sever (SMTP)

are for Hotmail, to set up on MS Outlook...?

you should be able to just put in your email address and password dude...... its an html btw, hotmail uses a web page system, not a pop3 or imap, thats why ya cant get it to work on moile phones.....

yep just put in your email and password and it'll set up mail as hotmail. I've always used this. Saves me going on crappy hotmail.com for live mail s**t

ok, I have done it the HTTP way, and when I go to test account settings, I keep getting the password box popping up. So I deleted my password and typed it again, and the box pops back up a few seconds later. So I went to MSN and logged in via their website, and logged in fine.

Bloody restored me PC earlier, so starting everything off from scratch!

under properties in the mail account in outlook, you'll see where you put your password "remember password" check box. make sure this is checked so that the box doesn't load up everytime you open outlook.

i have just done this and you need to subscribe to msn plus

can you do this for outlook 2000? only thing on the works pc, dont have a http option etc in add accounts only internet mail which requires a hotmail pop/stmp server address.
