Shadow/black exhaust tips.

Got the above on the beemer but it’s started to come off and makes it look a bit rubbish.

Looking around I can’t find any paint or anything so I’m assuming the best solution is either replace the tips.
Or polish them and try get a normal chromed appearance.

Anyone done something similar.

Are they on a m140i? Or at least the same type?

Lots of complaints over on babybmw.net about it. Read multiple people had them powder coated.

Otherwise rub down and bbq paint or high temp Halfords spray paint apparently works.

Laat option would be to replace but OEM will just flake again and aftermarket apparently isn't always a great fit.
