shakeing needles on dials

when i first start up my clio the needles on the dash all shake for a couple of seconds then go back to normal, whats that all about. ta.

do you find it only happens on very cold mornings ?!

mine starts.. dash lights light up and needles go arrrrggggggh for 2 seconds and shake like mad then back to normal. Like it had a fit. yours do that?

exactly the same bud, somtimes if ive just turned off the car then start it again soon after they dont do it but like you said it happens especially on cold mornings. any idea what it is?

its not a buzzing sound which i know is normal... This actually sounds like arrrrgggggghhhhh with needles shaking as if the cars possesed.

Mine rattle for 2 seconds, my Mum's did the same from brand new.

When you turn the ignition on.

Batterys are dieing chaps. had several sports like this including my own. Batterys going to die mine lasted for 2 weeks and then it gave up.

I had this on my old mk1 for the 5 years i had it lol. Still dont know what casused it.

mine still does it now yeah and still have no clue as to what it could be the closest i got to an answer was surges from the altonator but im not sure as he said it was only a guess
