Just wondering if anyone can diagnose a few little problems for me (gf car)
The first being the steering wheel shaking quite a bit when doing around 80MPH on a 1.2 8v, I blamed this on the wheels being so small, plus it being a light car and doing 80 would push the car around but just want to be sure...
The second when locking the wheel left or right, when it goes past the centre it produces a sharp clicking noise.. could this be the steering rack or cv joint as I had a similar problem on a x-type,
The third is 'sometimes' when engine is idle, it will vibrate for a few seconds then return to steady - this was more noticeable when I had a s**tty aftermarket exhaust which has now been changed back to standard - could this be the spark plugs?
It's due for a service in two days, so maybe that will smooth her out..
