shaking

I wasnt sure where to post this as it not clio related. Basically my dad has a citroen c5 and has this problem that citroen cant find. When you accelerate the car shakes. Only on acceleration. Has had various things replaced but still does it. any ideas what it could be??

my old 106 quicksilver use to shake but only when i was above 4000 revs that was only when i was accelerating. but when i took it to the garage they found my clutch had fell apart!

Dont think it would be this but you never know
