Shall i carry out my final mods on mk2 ph1 ?

  Clio_Smart
My clio is near complete.

Im thinking of new aerial like CTR type.

15" late dynamique (172 style) or 16" 172 alloys

Lowering it.

Over all that will cost near on £500

Shall i go for the final bits or save my money and leave my clio as it is.

Thanks

Need opinions from members who have been in this situation before and found what what was best.

Once again Thanks :D

If you buy the parts secondhand off here you can take them off and sell them when you get rid of the car and you should get most of your money back, go for it.

No i have got the old dynamique style alloys with the swirl.

Alex s i was thinking that buy from members on CS

When i come to sell prob a member will want to buy it modded or i can sell standard and sell parts on here.

My thinking exactly.

Providing you keep alloys in the same condition and avoid curbs you are just paying for delivery costs and ebay fees (if you choose to sell them in this way).

Aeriel - tenner delivered at most!

Lowering it:

Springs = 50 second hand or 115 for eibachs Brand new.
Coileys = 500 setup brand new.

I would say go for it.

Look at it as an investment. The return is happiness (you being pleased with you car) and the expense is slight depreciation and the tying up of capital.

Finish off the clio and have it how i want it or have money in my account towards a new car or something else.

:S

When I sell my car I will be selling the mods on here (where I bought most of them) as my car standard will appeal to a wider audience and I will get more for it.
I should get back the money I paid for the bits, so it effectively won't have cost me anything to have my car modified.
