I have just been offered £3500 cash for my valver. Although i aint looking to sell some geezer aproached me today and says he is despirate to have my clio. I said i dont wanna sell but then again everthing has a price. We spoke bout 3.5k and he is looking on Wednesday!!

Although i reckon this is a fair price for it i will be making such a loss as i have reciepts for 5.5k for her since i owned her (not including cash in hand jobs). This means this car owes me near on 10k.

Also what would i buy to replace the valver?

Please help as i would be sad to see her go but its a good price.

At the end of the day it is a phase1 K plate with 88k on. Wont get much more but what would i buy if i did sell. A fiesta Rs Tub would be nice but then gotta spend loadsa doller getting it as i want it ie wheels etc

It IS a good price, but is it worth £3.5k to you?

I know if someone offered me a figure for mine.. and it was lower than what Ive done, I certainly wouldnt let it go.

personally i would keep it,

its bloody nice, as you have spent loads on it already and it looks mint £3.5 k doesnt seem any where enough !

and you will probably regret it !

i think its one of the best looking valvers in the club, its always nice to try out different cars though - its gonna be very hard to turn it down if the geezer turns up with 3.5k in cash!

I had a 106 gti a couple of years ago and it was luvly, some lad turned up n offered me 6.5k in cash in an envelope and i couldnt say no!

I regret it now though

Thats the thing. Although it is a good price i will regret it. Also if i went for a FRST just to get it as i like it (wheels, Lowered, Tuned, Stereo) will cost in excess of 3k plus bout 3.5k for the car. More money down the drain. Or could just buy out my old dears half on our pug 306 cab and spend some money on wheels and lowering

I think its a superb looking car! However regardless of how much you spent on it unless its a specific buyer looking for a specialist car then the market value is all that you will get. Like you said you will never never get your money back. I did a similiar thing with a car and spent alot of money but never got it back!



Sell it mate, only if you want something more than what you already have!

Like you said, if youd have to spend £3K on your next car to get it how you like it, why take £3.5K for a car thats already the way you like!

thats exactly right, you sound like me, i couldnt sell my car, id be tempted if the right offer came along but once they drove away in it id be close to tears !

Sell it. It has 88k on the clock at the end of the day. Negotiate things like the seats and ICE if you have any, 3.5k is too good to miss
