Shopping list to try and correct my black ph2 172

  Black Sheep
A while back I detailed my car by hand using blackhole and vics red by hand and it worked amazingly well but the swirls and light scratching was still there. I was going to do it by hand again because that was four months ago, but I want to try and correct the paint now. After looking at another thread I am going to purchase this polisher.

Now what I want you guys to help me with is what I should buy to go with it to tackle the job effectivley ie, What polish and pads to get rid of the swirls in my black paint also should I buy a spot pad for the harder to do areas if so which one.

My final question Is after I have corrected the paint, with say the two polish compounds. Is it a complete waste of time to go over the whole car with my poor boys black hole with the machine?, prior to couple of coats of vics red wax by hand.

I would go with this kit as a beginner

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polis...ct-rotary-polisher-menzerna-kit/prod_875.html

Start off with the light pad and the final finish and take it from there, stepping up to the medium pad with final finish again if need.

Blackhole is good, but it's a glaze that contains fillers, so there is no actual correction. It will be fine to use after the polishing stage.

You'll also need to wax/seal the paintwork after too.

Thanks James I was looking at that kit earlier was just unsure if it would get rid of the swirling effectivley I had the idea these were meant for already corrected paint. I have already got vics red as my final wax. I take it this kit would be a lot safer than the rotary?

That is the menzerna rotary kit...

They do it as a das-6 pro kit too, but for the price i'd go for the rotary.

Gally has used one and said they're good, i trust his judgement

Do you think I should get a spot pad backing and pad/pads if so which ones. Or should I just see how it goes with the ones provided being a beginner or will the hard to get areas be really akward to do right.
