Shorter Aerial by Renault

you can pick up a civic type R 1 up for about £5, i had a spare 1 but have already given it away

The ctr ones dont fit properly though, the base is a different size to the renault, so looks gash and stuck on imo.

The CTR one looks OK but I'd prefer one that looks more OE.

Next time anyone goes abroad on their hols , check out the cars over there . They all had the same shorter bee sting aerials . This one was half inched off an Opel Corsa in Menorca , lol

i took a saw to my standard aeriel, then re-sealed it afterwards.

The shorter ones are fitted to the Scenic. Ever heared of Swap Shop, just don't get caught....lol

197 has the shorter one too, autoleads fit much better than CTR ones too

I swapped mine with a courtesy car my mate had, which was a new scenic.

It's only a little shorter but it does look better.

lol - mine was like fishing rod it was that long ! I just got one from Halfrauds for a tenner, it's about half the size & looks loads better. You need one with a 6mm thread.
