Which Clio model do you reckon has been owned for the shortest time and why ?

I have had an 82 Ford 1.1 Fiesta, 97 Clio 1.4 Sport, 98 Corsa 1.4 Sport, 89 Ford 1.4 Fiesta, 02 Clio 172, 99 Ford Ka in the 7 years I have been driving, never owned 2 cars at the same time either.

So for me, the 172 is the shortest owned car at only 7 months.

had my willy 1 for 3 months and was in the garage for 6 weeks, so i stacked it after 6 weeks driving , technically! Bought another williams just over a month after that. Had 3 clios in 2 years

Had a mk1 1.2 Clio for about 4 months, hated it after a week of driving. Spent the rest of the 4 months saving money for the deposit on my current car.

I bought a deceptively mint looking red xr2 drove it home and realised Id made a big mistake sold it the next day at the same auction that it came from.... and the lesson learned? ……don’t be blinded by a fresh paint job!! Hours owned = 18!!

One of my mates picked his Valver up, a mint example. Gorgeous car, and stacked it coming home from the pub the same night (no, he hadnt been drinking!) Totally his fault though, overestimating his or the valvers abilities. I wasnt there....

Owned it for about 6-12 hours before it was written off! He had a R5 Turbo before that that was fully modified, fast as f**k and had that for about 6 months.

My mk1 172 is being traded in after 3months of ownership.

Im trading it in this week for a mk2 172. The mk1 has been towed into the garage 5 times in 3 months with immobiliser faults. Ive just got fed up with the lottery of "will the car start or wont it" each time i go to drive it.

I love the car, which is why im getting another 172, but ive lost faith in this car.
