Shortshift

Hoping you guys can help.


I have a short shift fitted to my clio, its the one with a metal rob and ball at the top.

I want this item removed.

What do i need exactly to remove the shortshift. Is the gearlinkage just the same but the gear shaft is different?

Also does anyone have one?

Linkage will be the same, it will just be the lever (and possibly a pin on the gearbox end).

To remove you need to undo the linkage from the lever underneath the car, then behind the heatshields you will see the lever goes into the gear stick housing from underneath. Its held in with a big circlip - its a bit fiddly under the car mind
