Should i keep my ps3?

I wanna state from the start i dont want this to turn into a war and if you're biased then please don't post.

Basically I exchanged my 360 for a ps3 when they were first released over here. I love the build quality of the ps3 and how great it looks. It also has some brill features built into it.

Sadly im become totally annoyed now with the amount of games that are released for it and the quality of them. Just wondering if i'd be best getting another 360 while they're cheap at boots and selling the ps3?? Am just worried in the future the games might come thick and fast and be a lot better. But then i think all the games that have been released so far look much better on the 360 i.e fear and call of duty etc!! any advice??

I'd keep it, from what I've heard a lot of the 'quality' titles will be out in the next few weeks/months.

you reckon? just annoying me why you have to wait so much longer for games to come out on the ps3 like dirt for example and ghost recon 2!! 360 has soooo many good titles

The quality titles will follow, this was always going to prove a quiet time of year for the PS3. All depends if you can wait. If not sell up now and buy one again at a later date.

The titles you mentioned were simply ports of 360 games and due to this were never going to look any better.

I'm trading in R6 Vegas this week for Forza 2 and then I'll buy it when it's released on the PS3 later this month/early next.

I have a 360 and a PS3. Best of both worlds.... there's also a Wii and a DS... lol but then I'm a gadget freak!

im not slating the ps3 just saying what i do before "thehoff" gets in here, i have all three consoles i play 360 the most, i hardly play ps3 (very rarely play it) no one wants to play it when they come around, they all want to try the wii, but 360 is the big winner.

There's no debate that the 360 is the only option for great games at the moment, but just depends how patient you are really

PS3 should hopefully take off later this year with GTA etc, and there is no doubt it's a cooler thing to own hehe I'm just holding off until it catches up with the 360, then i'll probably get one too

if you want a games console i think 360 is the king. if you want an entertainment centre that plays the odd game, then ps3 is what you want.

(and yes, I have had first had experience with all the consoles)

The PS3 will not compete in a games only market until later this year as it has alot of ground to cover in order to catch the 360. I'm confident things will improve though and it'll be a successfull console.

If you have uses right now that extend beyond gaming, media player etc, then it's certainly worth owning.

As a games console it's probably pretty vulnerable right now so it depends if:

1-You make use of it as a media player/hub.
2-If you need the cash.

E3 is in like 30 days, so expect a lot of new announcements in and aorund that show, we'll get too see new trailers/footage and probably hear about some news on revised release dates. At very least it will showcase what the PS3 is capable of.

I think it's going to be Autumn before the notable releases will appear, there's a lot of superb titles on the horizon, a full release schedule is here:

Personally I'm looking forward to MGS4/Heavenly Sword/FF XIII/Lair/Ninja Gaiden Sigma/Killzone 3 all of which are exclusive titles to PS3 IIRC. And all of which are out before Q4 2007.

Comes down to do you need games now now now, or are you happy to wait for the snowball to gather pace.
