Just about to pass six thousand miles, and im not sure whether to change the oil now or just leave it till the first service at 12k. What does every one else think? Ill then go with the majority!

The more often the better imho..... Although mines on 8000 and I havent got round to doing it yet

do it the now, engines go through a bit more oil when being run in from new

I think thats probabley enough to convince me to do it then, in which case oil choice? go to renault and pick some Elf or off to halfords for some mobil1?

Ive done a change at 1500 and 6200 miles with Magnatec semi and it definitely did the engine a good turn.
