  182
not quite what i'd call brilliant..... the hole in the windscreen was caused by the fence post coming through the windscreen, and carrying on right through the car, catching my neck as it did

how did this happen ???

Yeah I agree, how is it brilliant?

Something like that one in the field is funny as long as no one was injured.

But no what happened to that guys trophy, especially as it wasn't his fault at all!

last year i was in my m8s Honda Prelude, and we came off the road at about errm 60mph, and went head first into a tree! the big heavy 2.2 litre engine turned 90degrees in the impact, and the bottom end and gearbox were on my feet, and the front passenger side alloy wheel was shattered into about 20 pieces and pushed back between my legs! had to take my shoes off to get out! hahhaha
not ONE SINGLE panel on the car was straight afterwards, everything rippled, etc... came out with a huuge gash on my forehead, from hitting either the dashboard or door :-S

heres wot the car looked like after...

yeah same 2 u, if ur not willing 2 accept the consequences of driving then u shouldnt be in a fukin car, at the end of the day, dont crash if you dont wanna die
What sort of deluded, narrow minded response is that?

The poor guy was in an accident which could have oh so easily killed him. I don't know the full in's an out's of the incident but I dare say that when T23phy set off on his journey that evening, he didn't think 'why not plough through a fence, ruin my car and nearly kill myself'.

You simple moron. I hope to god you don't actually see this message, purely because it is people like you who give driving and it's associated enthusiasts a bad name and I hope and pray that you don't return to the forum.

Len.... thanks for that.... you've said in a nicer way what i should have said a few posts ago..... given the choice, i'd like to still have my first Trophy, not suffered 3.5 weeks off work and not had all the hassle than followed after the car was written off.

just think you need to know the ins and outs before you start making comments like you have Liam.... words are very easily misinterpreted and can be read in different ways by different people - search my posts and you'll see that i've put details of my crash up and what happened.... it's not a sore point. and i wouldnt have put the pictures up if i'm so bothered by it.

at the end of the day, i'll only get narked by someone making stupid comments.... read my posts and you'll see i've had a good insurance payout and bought another Trophy. not complaining now ;)

i see you've edited your post in between the forum considering me trying to bloody post!!

Blimey people, hope everyone who has been in the crashes above is ok and that nobody was seriously injured.

I know i only posted these recently, but its been my only car and hence my first effort. Not even my fault. All rather dissapointing really. I had hoped to either sell it in a nice condition or do things properly and go screaming through a hedge backwards due to ice or swerving to avoid a wild panther with a monkey on its back. No joy.
