Sick Road noise.....HELP!!

Right well after sticking 40mm apex springs and turinis on my Mk1 172, im getting terific road noise thru the car. Like wuring sound gets so loud at differnt speeds, 40mph, 80mph, found 65mph was bearable. Now bearings were checked a lil while ago and were fine, so is this down to the tyres?? Tyres are Conti contacts and all have good tread except rear passenger which hasn't got much at all.

Also after putting the springs and wheels on should I have needed to get the tracking done, and am i correct in thinking that the wheels came off a cup so I shouldn't need to get them balanced. sorry for noob questions!

are the wheels new cos one might be buckeled this would also knacker the wheel bearing. and balancing would be a bad thing.

Go and get your wheel alignment checked mate. If that isnt the problem then it could be the case that a rim is slightly buckled.
