Side impact sensor

My passenger side airbag went off a while ago and I'm trying to put it right, got seat sorted, pretensioners sorted, airbag module out and ready to be sent away to be reset. The last thing I have heard of is the side impact sensor. Does this need replaced too or not? If so where is it?, is it an easy job?, and are they expensive?

Found out most of what I need to know but does anyone know where it will be on the car? Apparently it is located around the door sill somewhere but where? It looks like this:

You don't need to change them.
