Side impact sensors.

Right, done a lot of searching and can't find a definative answer on this so,

If you have a knock and deploy a side airbag (one's in the seats) do you have to replace the side impact sensor (bolted to sill iirc) or not?

Now, before you go off on one, I know about resetting the airbag computer and getting a new seat and all that, so Yes or No?

I beleive bmh.01 did a far bit of investigation into this, so over to you?

Cheers Guys.

no idea, but have a free :bump: on the house.

according to a couple of handy scots on here, "airbags are poofs" anyways ;)

You rang? lol. No they do not need to be changed. New seat, reset the airbag computer and you'll be away.
