sideskirt refurb... pics

Bought some damaged sideskirts from eaby, few cracks and stone chips in them so im doing abit of D.I.Y for me 172 rep.

First I got some ipson p40 a to fill in the gaps

no need to be sarcy fella - sideskirts themselves were 50 pound... rumour is you can get wings from renault for 60quid... ??

were did u get urs from?

how far back will u sand it? just take the top coat of laquer off or all the way through to the paint itself? i'm gonna re-spray my bumpstrips as you can still see the plastic grain showing through in some places from when i sprayed them last summer! im not sure how far back i need to take it to get a good enough key for the primer?!!

what you gan see in picture 3 is a hole that was about 3mm deep which has been filled in with fiberglass, then its been sanded down with wet and dry till its smooth against the sideskirt, with ur bumpstrips uv gotta sand them right the way down till there smooth if you want a perfect finish

if there is no dmage and its just a respray then you only need nto remove the laquer!
