sidewall damage

i was wondering if someone could gimmie some advice on a bit of sidewall damage to my tire what happened was i tried to avoid a bif pothole when i was going down this country line..unfortunatly i didn't and its cut into the sidewall off my tire its about 1cm deep no air is leaking and the tire is still inflated but is it safe to drive?... i hit it hard to the point where it clumped the corner of the alloy and scrathed that as well...do i need a new tire or will it be okies what do you think?

Have you got a picture? How new is the tyre?

ill get a pic on here tomorrow ... the tyre has done probably 1000miles if that only had the alloys and tyres 3months

personally i wouldnt drive on a tyre with ANY sidewall damage
