I'm having a nightmare with my car radio at the moment, its a ph2 standard radio with nothing extra. We were driving home the other day and all of a sudden the radio started stuttering, and then went silent. it seemed to be working still and the display shows that its either on radio or playing CD's, but no sound whatsoever comes out. I've taken it out and disconnected it and all seems ok, but its still not making any noise.
Any ideas what this could be please? Or is there an amp somwehre in the car that could be to blame?
