Silicone hoses worth it ?

So on a racing level ... Are silicone coolant hoses worth the £175 to £250 ... I'm not convinced hence the question.

Forge do an excellent set that come with free water leaks, and people call these a upgrade.

Ive got samco hoses and they've had a slight leak from day 1

I'd recommend changing for OEM ones if you wanted to change!

I've just had the samco kit fitted I'll Report back after the cars been driven properly

My hoses are made by OEM and have been on the car since new in November 2004 and have seen 65,000 miles with zero failures, swelling, discoloration, etc. OEM hoses cost £0 and since using them, I've noticed a more fulfilling sex life, more accurate vision (used to wear reading glasses), and whiter, brighter teeth.

My OEM hoses starting leaking last year, so replaced them with a set of Forge silicone hoses. Very happy with them so far TBH.
