silly question

  a burnt one
right, ive seen the exhaust i want, its a scorpion lemans 3" twin round system

its a cat back system, my question is, (being an exhaust novice), what is the difference between cat back de-cat etc etc??

if i get this will i have trouble passing an M.O.T?

thing is my car is only 1.2 so im not interested in performance increases or noise levels, id rather it didnt waken the neighbours but the full system is only £60 more than the back box which kinda makes the point in buying a back box useless

any help and advice much appreciated:D

Cat-back; means it runs from the Catalyst Converter...

De-Cat; means it replaces the Catalyst Converter so you wont have one no more :p

So as you still will have the Catalyst Converter, so you wont have any problems passing your MOT...
