silva tec bulbs

just wondering whether the cio bulbs or offset 581 model. also is it illegal to have these on both front and back reapeters. or am i beinig stupid.

I went to my local alfords and asked if they had any. The guy said they dont stock things like these as theyre bordering on being illegal. Dunno why. So i got a set somewhere else. They seem to transform the look of the front set of the car. Get a set for sure. I paid 15 quid for mine (phillips silvervision).

Clarkie 172 is right they arent illegal. But the quality of the cheaper ones are ****e, and may as well be illegal. I fitted some cheap ones which didn't last silver very long, after a week the silver tarnished to a black mess. Also on a bright day, it was difficult to see them flashing (a few motorist let me know this via their car horn). So stick to reconised brands such as phillips or Osram, they might be more exspensive but no doubt better quality.

So the moral of the story is "buy cheap buy twice"

i havent fitted them yet but i got some silvertek bulbs from KTec are these the cheap ones or will they be ok ???
