Silver 172 - Cheam

  Arctic Blue 182
in cheam? the harrow is good - there is a wine bar called the claret opposite budges, its ok for a quick drink if your passing through - there is the bell which is near nonsuch girls school, so if your at cheam crossroads coming from sutton, go straight across, past the building works on your left and there is a sharpish bend to the left and the bell is after the bend... thats ok, there are a few regulars that take their dogs there so u can stroke them! I wouldnt go in the queen vic in north cheam (by alldays) unless you wanna come out in a bodybag, lol! there is the sidney which is on your way out of cheam towards north cheam just after the libarary. oh and there is the bell, thats nice, go past budgens and its the first turning on the left by the libarary car park. hope that helps hun!

ta! also looking for any within about 10 mins drive out from Sutton? I've been told Chipstead, Banstead etc there are some good ones (need car park ideally)

I dont like North Cheam when I drive through it lol, esp the look of the Drill!

yeah the drill is a dive.

chipstead - there is the ramblers rest - massive car park, lovely massive garden too.

go down the a217 and come off at the kingswood exit off the big roundabout (first left) follow all the way down that road and you have the kingswood arms - thats nice - its right at the end of the road so u cant miss it... then you if you turn left at the end of that road and keep going for about 5mins, you will eventually come to the ramblers rest which is on your left hand side

I've been in the Kingswood Arms, my ex's local lol. Ramblers Rest I think I've seen and is one I wanted to find again, ta for directions as I couldn't remember how to get to either of them!

I love The Harrow quality pub, I work for L&G at Kingswood so the Kingswood Arms is my local when I'm at work, great food but so expensive...

Have to say The Ramblers Rest is one of my favourite pubs in the area...

u go to the harrow too? i go there, its about 3 mins walk from my house! lol! so i can stumble home without driving!

yeah ramblers is lovely, nice garden so its good in the summertime..

karen, there is the blue anchor as well, thats off the big roundabout on the a217, its the 3rd exit and a little way down that road, there is the dukes head next to it and chequers is off that road too, but its expensive there, its were george best use to drink.

where else, u got tattenham corner where we went on that meet and there is the derby arms the otherside off the other big roundabout and the c**k in on the way to box hill way..

Used to drink in The Harrow loads as a mate of mine had a flat above the Kebab Shop on that parade of shops, haven't been in there since she moved a good couple of years ago now though.....

it's all about the Ramblers Rest I go there quite alot...

like shergy I work at L&G too...Kingswood arms is alright but a bit poncey if you get what I mean...expensive too..

there loads about....Woolpack (don't drive there unless you want something stolen from your car), Cafe Italia (bit chavvy), Wheatsheaf, the Mint. they are all in Banstead....

Ramblers Rest and White Horse (I think) in Chipstead..both good for food

More sort of Tadworth Walton on the Hill way you got Blue Bull, Blue Anchor, Dukes Head, Hand in Hand near Boxhill (if it's still called that)

plenty about and all very close to each other...

No she moved to Worcester Park but round about the same time I met my other half who lives in Brighton so most of my time is spent down there now, very rarely go out in the Sutton area anymore, in fact as of Spetember I'm moving to Brighton myself.... :)

From my house near Sutton station to her front door, if I push the 1.2 to the limit I can do it in about 35 mins providing the roads are clear, usually takes me about 50 minutes to an hour.....:D

A mate of mine done it in 22 minutes the other night on his Fireblade....

Up to an hour :S Glad I have a 182 lol. I've done it from Caterham fairly fast and that is not that much closer. Gonna have an early morning drive down there one w/e once I move, will time it.

Not even sure my owing a 182 would make a difference, I usually go there straight from work or go to work from there so I just must get the traffic , still in a few months I won't have any of that....:D

it takes about 35mins at a steady pace in the valver but when we went to the meet there the other week it took 2 and halfs hous cos the m23 was closed!

  1.2 16v Dynamique
Maybe I just go a bit easier as I have got 6 points in the last 8 months, 3 courtesy of Sussex Police's undercover silver Evo 8 on the M23, plus a couple of warnings on the 23 too so I'm over cautious....:S

  1.2 16v Dynamique
It had about 4 of my mates and me all in the space of about a week before we could warn everyone we knew.

They have a green XJS and a Skoda Octavia VRS too so keep your eyes peeled for them as well....

  1.8 Civic EX
I've seen the XJS on the A217 once aswell....didn't know about the skoda tho!

luckily enought when we went to the Brighton meet the EVO had already pulkled someone over and was on the side talking to him so ignored us!
