Silver, paint or powdercoat?

Want original wheels sorting as few curbs etc.
But, don't want them looking grey!
The chap who has done my last 3 sets says he would wet paint rather than PC.
That way i'll be able to get the metalic flecks as original.
Any other ideas?

Thats the problem powdercoat don't do a great silver.
It lasts & hardwearing but silver is one colour that don't look right PC?

I've got 'silver' powder coated wheels and tbh, I wish i'd had them painted. They look too flat. nowhere near enough sparkle.
