Silverstone

Car  Never above 25mpg
Saw these entering the carpark

Black Gold 182

Trophy

172 Cup

Also there was a Glacier white 200 in the middle area by Bridge.

Ah I didn't know you had gone, coulda met up and spoke about how everything was so ridiculously priced !!

£1.70 for tea !!! the noise the V8's were making was awesome

Hmm... I bought 3 bottles of coke, a 1/2lb cheeseburger and chips and a 1/4lb cheeseburger (all at different times).
Let's just say they made a mint out of me today :o

The GT3 Astons were a gorgeous sound! GT1 was insane. Corvettes were absolute brutes in terms of noise.

when i left the circuit i saw a white 197 cup ( had CUP in the numberplate) and a red 182 i think??

and things are honestly priced:) (i would say that as a silverstone employee :P)

I was there too, had a blue cup and a trophy park behind mine on the car park, mine was the petrol blue 182.

I was there. 172 with 182 twin Exhaust. Saw a really nice Blue 182 cup in Whittlebury Park Camping and another 172 just like mine (minus exhausts) in the car park at the track.

We jumped ship a bit early. A night in a tent with gail force winds and torrential rain screwed us up a bit.

Mine was the 172 Cup and the Trophy was my mates. Saw the 182 infront as well as a few others around the place. Good days racing, shame it was so bloody cold!

That was mine, shame they weren't parked up in a row.

Oh and yes, racing good, weather bad!!

Ha ha! Yeah I thought that. The parking guy was taking his job quite seriously though, so there wasn't much chance of that!

Yeah, he was shouting at a guy in a golf to park 5 millimeters closer to the next car. Keeps him happy I suppose? It was a good day though. We had a good blast back home down the twisties, which topped it off. :approve:

It was a good day, cant beat the GT1 noise, especially the V12 masers, lambos and astons. Although, the mucielago r-gt from previous years did sound much better than the current lp-670sv-r.

I thought the Ford GT's sounded suprisingly great too, not to mention the Vetts. That black mad croc car looked and sounded like it belonged to the grim reaper! Awesome stuff! I did like the whistling Porsches in the GT3's as well. The whole thing was pretty much car p**n though!

Yep, the day is car p**n. I've been to the FIA GT meet about 5 or 6 times now, each year is a great day out. If you like the noise, Le Mans series in septemer is definately worth a visit. All that noise for 6 hours non-stop, plus get the prototype racers from the 24 hour race too.

Yeah, I've been to the last two 1000K races. Last Sep was freezing again and there were no Pugs or Audi's, although those LMP1 Astons sound crazy. Be definitely going this Sep, as well as the Renault WS the week after. We all went down to Le Mans last June too, which was another world altogether. Cant make it this year unfortunately. :dapprove: We'll be looking at arranging a 2011 tour though.
