Does anyone use a decent wireless keyboard with trackpad for their rig?

Any recommendations?

I did - and then switched back to a wired K&M with USB extension leads.

I was getting pissed off with the power saving of the wireless devices that sometimes wouldn't come out if sleep mode.

How do you handle that? Have a little table next to you for the mouse?

Yeah problem is the PC is the other side to where I would put the keyboard down, so the cable would reach across the rig

I used one of these for ages, it’s useless for gaming but if you just want something compact to be able to change settings/launch games etc then it’ll do the job

I echo the above, I had that exact one at my old job to control a computer that was on a big screen in the office and it worked great. Meant I didn't have to keep getting up from my desk to walk over to it.

I’ve still got a K400 I use for my Raspberry Pi. Been absolutely battered over the years and still works perfectly.

Does anyone have a buttkicker pro?

What is the ease to get it setup? Just a case of simhub and adjusting the levels?

Worth the money?

Does it ever go to a good sale price? Like ~£350 or is +£400 all you can hope for?

I've only read mixed comments online and haven't actually tried one myself.

However, it seems to be a bit of a lottery with the integration of certain setups and software. If you have patience - go for it, if not I'd be a bit wary.

I haven't got the buttkicker pro, but i did opt for the trakracer option

I've only got it set up in a mono channel at the moment, but covers enough effects to add that little extra kick (gear shifts, traction loss etc)

Looks interesting, How do you mount it to the rig? Does it need the £55 tray for it to sit on, but does the tray not just rattle instead of the full effect going through the rig?

i've got the underseat mount, it clamps between the seat and the frame mounts. it also has a bit of padding between itself and the mount so that you don't get the rattling noises. it gives just the right amount of kick to get a feeling under your arse, and depending how you set it up in simhub dash, it makes a massive difference to the immersion.
