That’s Elliot’s. It was in the office at work (as in the vid) but the public are disrespectful c***s so he’s taken it home and put it in his spare room.
It’s absolutely superb.

Rearranged a bit as I’ve just had all the carpets replaced but the basic setup...

Does the VR make you wanna chunder?

It did for me on my mates, had to have some paracetamol rofl. He had the same thing but you get over it, I struggled with the lack of feeling that I would usually expect, as did my head..

I personally use an old 47” TV with a Playseat and Logitech G920 which plugs into my PC, an average setup at best for the enthusiast sim racer but more than good enough for me playing for casually.

Loaded question. Usually? Absolutely. Feel s**t for hours, days even. What’s different about the quest 2 compared to the other headsets I’ve tried I can’t say for sure, but I think it’s the refresh rate. If I can target 90 frames I can stomach an hour if not more and feel fine.

This is pretty good.
Not actually sure what it is though but I would have loved that as a kid (probably still would now tbh)

VR. I’m probably going to get a VR headset next month. It’s brilliant for racing sims since you’re seated.

unless you’re on about the sim in which case it’s DCS I think.

Completely basic set up but does the job for now.

Old pug seat still completely adjustable.
G29 with gear shift spring mod, feels much better.
Homemade handbrake that works great in gt sport, when pulled it presses the ds4 trigger, and folds away when not used (the eagle eyed may notice what car handle was used to make it [emoji3166]).
And the psvr.

When I'm in the new house will be getting a rig and making an inverted pedal setup, but the missus is adamant that the chair is not coming with us [emoji24][emoji23]

Still good the logis. It’s a pain there’s no real middle ground upgrade from there, it’s either spend up to 500 for wheels that are mostly logi-like, or spend a grand plus. And hey, a lot of the fastest racers have them.

Bumping this thread.
Dug my old Thrustmaster TX out of the loft this evening as I had managed to get hold of a set of the T3PA-pro pedals for a bargain earlier in the day. Makes playing Forza and the like much more immersive than the previous two pedal set up I was previously using.

I need a decent seat though as I am currently using a dining chair and it isn’t the comfiest of things. Does anyone have suggestions of something I can use as a general seat which also doubles up as a decent seat for this?

Got a new one in the office, much more manly, and seems extremely well built.

It’s actually exhausting to play as the steering is so fight, the seat chucks you around and the butt kicker rattles your teeth out. I don’t know how some people play them for hours. I’m done in after 20 minutes!

I keep looking at stuff like this, but my missus says we don't have space 😂

So hard to know what kit to buy as well.

UPS website says my wheel will be delivered tomorrow. I'm hoping thats accurate but it only left Stanford Le-Hope at 2100 tonight. Long old trek up to Glasgow from there.

How do you stop it sliding forward ? I have the same pedals on a metal .. rig ?! .. and I have an old subwoofer with floorspikes into the carpet to stop it just disappearing from under me.
It’s on the rug when being used and doesn’t budge.
I’m getting really anxious about those shelves. I hope it’s just the angle of the photo.
Haha, hung by Bodgit & Scarper. Luckily just lens distortion! They look well off. 😀
