Simota Carbon Aeroform

I've used the search tool and google - can't find where to buy a Simota Carbon Aeroform (the one with the carbon air scoop pointing directly at the grill). Also getting confused about the different Simota products available for the 182. Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks

That's the one - does it come with all the necessary parts to fit (like the elbow, connectors, clips etc.)?

They sound brilliant, I had a carbon charger kit on mine although I lost soooo much power. Couldn't believe the difference after replacing it with a BMC IK.

it's 250 pounds worth of nothingness.

All show + no go. I had one on and it lost power all over the place, mapped with group N. Maybe with a custom map to suit it will be better.
The sound was incredible !

I'd advise buying yourself a new induction elbow and shortening it. They are a bloody big bit of kit and if you want (which you will!) to run a CAF to it, the standard elbow is too long to get it all in.

love mine sounds awesome! and it made me 1bhp over an ITG panel filter pmsl, not that you'd notice really...got it from Russ @ gas who posted above...

In a word, no. Having said that, I don't see why you couldn't perform some sort of elbow trickery and fit one. I've not looked under 1.6 bonet before though?

Well a Maxogen is enclosed, this isn't. But seeing as neither really gives any gains and one is nearly twice the price of the other but sounds half as good - I made the right decision!

When purchasing one you will see the one you get will be for a BMW.. Not ever one designed for a Renault. I s**t you not. Only compatibily is that the connection diameter is right.

sorry í do'nt want to put the thing down completely because young + angry will find the sound amazing ; which it is.. performancewise it sucks. Get an enclosed kit when after performance ! Or rather try upgrading your cafs first in combo with a ITG filter, = much cheaper and GREAT performance
