how hard is it to put a 182 front bumper on a 172, anything to consider when doing this?

i dont my friend has a 172 which needs a new bumper the guy at the scrappers has a 182 bumper but he wsnt sure exactly whether its a straight forward swap!

i cant remember seeing any difference lol unless your talking phase 1 172

you would have to change wings, bonnet, headlights + the bumper

new phs 1 bumper (front) = £575.14+vat!!!

ha thanks, think we`ll take the £50 replacement from the scrap yard and get it resprayed.

it won't fit a phs1 172 though mate unless you change the wings, headlights and bonnet and then you'll haveto have all those parts painted

don't do it, the front of a phase 1 is what makes it special!
