Sitting for 2 months

  GTD, Lupo
Unfortunatly the time has come for me go away again, but this time i have now got a garage so no need to leave my car with anyone else. The plan is to just leave it in gear and chock the wheels but was wondering if its worth disconnecting the battery? or will it be ok for just 2 months?

Should be just fine, and thinking about it, disconnecting the warranty could void your insurance surely? As you'd have no alarm?

If you need someone to drive it about, very lovingly for two months, call me ;)

Hah cheers Rob i will keep that in mind :D

Good point on the warrenty. Was also thinking for insurance reasons aswell. Think i will just leave it be.

It will be fine. I'd leave battery on and leave the car locked though. Maybe pop the bonnet incase you need in to hook up the battery when you are back.

Should be fine tbh... but it has been bloody cold recently so may affect the battery if not driven for 2 months... however, nothing a quick jump/bump start followed by a decent run wouldn't cure.
