how are you getting on with it as a daily drive Justin? as good as expected or are there times you wish you had something different? any issues with it yet or not?
just don't tell us the clutch is too heavy
Seb - its definately hard work to drive, the pedal travel on all three is very long! Though the brakes bite almost instantly.. And being non assisted they take a while to get used to..
In stop start driving, the transmission tunnel gets very warm, which I think will be nice in winter! Lol and the metal gear knob heats up aswell..
The power is unreal, picks up speed very quickly in any gear, it just goes balistic above 6k revs
Handling wise, I still ament used to it, the lotus gave u so much confidence which the tvr just doesnt. The attention the car gets is unrea, though I don't think the exhaust helps, outside its very very loud, popping and banging alot! Yet inside its quite sedate! Much much comfier inside aswell, which is great on the motorway..
Another thing which is great Is the boot, in comparison to the lotus, its huge!
Running wise, when starting from cold, u need to hold the revs up for about 10s at 1000rpm, as it tends to drop to about 600 and stall.. Once warm its fine though. Warm up procedure takes a good ten mins before any proper throttle action
drinks petrol around town but about 25/30mpg on a run.. Filling up with petrol is a pain, andything more than half throttle on the petrol pump and it clicks off!
All in all I'm starting to really quite like it, but I don't drive to work everyday so not sure how it would really be day to day!
