Sixty six Renaultsports a year???

Got the Renaultsport newsletter in my email today and was surprised to read that the Renault dealer who sells the most Renaultsports a year only manages to sell 66 of them?!?!?

Thought the UK was Renault's best market for Renaultsport cars??

I was very surprised to see which dealer it was bearing in mind I've bought my last 2 from them and the sales guy I dealt with last time didn't know his arse from his elbow. Christ, he told me there was no such car as the Clio Trophy only a Megane Trophy. Needless to say, he no longer works there!

reason being they sell a lot on the internet.

The RS is the premium brand. Multiply by quite a large dealer network as well.... 66 aint bad going. there where only 1100 ph quicks made in just over 12mths.

I thought most (or all) of these "fleet sales" were to BMNC.

Considering the size of the dealer network 66 doesn't seem bad going for a fairly niche market. 249 dealers in the UK isn't there? If each one on average sells 10 a year that is still a whole lot of Renaultsports.

Platinum Renault here in Wiltshire couldn't have been far behind judging by the numer of 197s and particuarly 225/230s around these parts.

That will of course won't be an accurate figure. cos of the discount all you lot want, when we pre register, it counts as fleet, not a new retail order.
