sky box (pics of the back)

could anyone post up pics of the back of the sky box and the sky+ that you would get if i switched to sky (currently on ntl/virgin)i need to know if the sky box has a rf pass through like the ntl boxes do? as 2 other tellys in my house run of the passs through..

yep they do have a rf pass through.

They also have an extra dedicated rf out for any additional tellys etc.

Yep, 1 RF in from the aerial, 2 RF outs, 1 having 9v power out, used for the magic eyes/tv links

default channel is 68

(wish i could stop thinking of Sly stuff lol)

so the sky rf out would feed another telly with channels 1-5 + what ever channel the sky box is on(this is how my ntl box works)

yep, exactly the same as the ntl/telewest boxes in that respect

With the Magic Eye you can change Channels in the other rooms as well. But obviously changes it everywhere but handy anyway.

Had Sky installed the other day, the bloke was very very quick but he dragged mud through the house and tore a MASSIVE piece of plaster of one of the walls he drilled through. He had to use the biggest drill you have ever seen to get through the outer wall, as it was about 2 1/2 foot thick Hamstone

drill bit about 1meter long? thats usually the longest the engineers carry..
Only had to use the one I had a couple of times.

You should put in a damage claim, one of the engineers i used to work with has got a damage claim for breaking someones hair straightners lol.

any good deals where i can get sky+ without paying £99 for the box and £60 for the install?
seems abit silly when i can get a normal box with free install?

Yea, well I was an installer up until yesterday, when i got sacked...
shite company to work for.

Just play the virgin media card on them, they'll do anything to have your custom, I know alot of customers were getting the sky+ box for £49 and free fitting, should be able to get better than that thou

It was a VERY big drill probs about a metre or so long. It was his own though? I assume they dont provide the kit

proberbly cause he was telling sky customers to switch to ntl lol
