Sky+ finally gives up the ghost

had some problems with my sky+ box recently... skipping on recordings, not playing sound back etcetc... now it won't switch on at all.

Tried all sorts of resetting, but nothing. Looks like the hard drive has gone.

Where's the best place to get a new one? It's out of warranty with Sky by a lot lol.

Try unplugging it for at least 20 minutes....it might come back.

House insurance? especially as you tipped tea over it.

Have you tried kicking the s**t out of it while screaming like a b**ch...my wife seems to think that helps

Works for my wife too, especially when it fails during the international netball.
