Sky HD box, worth it?

Just wondering if anyone has the HD box and is it worth it?

just had a letter from sky as iv been a customer for over 6 years there offering me a box with £100 off.

now i need a new box anyways as my old box gets a really poor pic and no sound on most chanels, the only ones that work fine are the Sky sports 1,2,3 and News which are the main chanels i use for the footy, but i really need to get a new box as its pain when something else i want to watch is on.

so im wondering wether to take them up on this offer or just get another normal box.

Worth it if you have a HD TV, but i wouldnt buy one just for HD channels alone. From your post sounds like you want Sky + with the ability to record one channel now that is worth it

got a sky plus box downstairs already, yeh got a hd tv i dunno i dont really like watching too much tv, might just get a new normal box and sack the offer off!
