Not a Clio
I know this would probably be easier just calling them but the last time I did I was in a queue for a good 20mins so I'm trying to do it via email.
All I wanted to know was a fixed price for just a dish and wiring at the house we're moving to. We've been with them a year so have our own box.
This is the reply I got:
Now I'm confused. Are they saying it's £50 for the dish and cabling to either a sky digibox or sky plus? What's a TV Link?

We can provide a moving house offer to current Sky subscribers. This service can cost 50.00 (GBP) for one Sky digibox or Sky+ box. If you require to move your TV link with your Sky equipment there would be an additional charge of 20.00 (GBP) for this. As you have had your equipment for 1 year you would not need to have the telephone line connected. However if you wish to keep your sky talk and have broadband a BT line would be necessary.
Sky will supply a new dish, LNB and external cabling and fully reconnect the system. However if there is an existing dish and cable at the property, the engineer may utilise this. You would be required to take your digibox, viewing card, Sky remote control, SCART leads, Internal Cabling and TV Link if applicable.
Please note that there is a 90 day warranty on the dish and cabling.
If the installation at the new property is non-standard, for example additional brackets or work required to complete the installation, the engineer will advise you and a further charge will be involved. If the installation requires the dish to be placed on the roof or chimney of the new property the engineer may not be able to undertake the installation due to our health and safety regulations.
As you are a current subscriber, you may not benefit from a further subsidised offer. The terms and conditions of the digital contract are that, a customer is only eligible to benefit from subsidised equipment once.
