Sky TV question!

We have a box with a freesat card in it at home, you pretty much get nothing, but as our TV reception is appalling through an ariel we have it.

Last night I discovered that for some reason all the channels had become unscrambled - sports, films, mtv etc etc! Now i'm not complaining but its still all unscrambled this morning! Will it last? (Please say so )

Good news, I've phoned them up and they're going to rescramble the channels for you.

This actually happened without your doing, or have you hacked it somehow?

thi once happened to a mate of mine with old sky they won it in a comp for a year but then the scrambled it after a small lightening storm voila all started working again for the next few years

No I haven't hacked it or done anything dodgy. The box isn't connected to the phone line either. I fully expect it to be scrambled when I get home, but just wondered what was going on!

Sorta happened to us in our last house. We had the sky disconneced so it was just left with the free channels then all of a sudden we had the full package back and never received a bill for it

My pay as you go on orange when I was at college worked for months without any credit on it. How I abused that as much as I could.
